Argaux started as a passion project between two friends who enjoyed throwing dinner parties in college. Arden and Margaux met their Freshman year at the University of Arizona. Their friendship grew over monthly dinner parties they co-hosted for friends and roommates. Soon they were known as the “dinner party enthusiasts” and their appetite for all things food and cooking fostered their newfound interest and passion for wine. By their senior year in college friends called Arden and Margaux, Argaux. Today, Arden & Margaux are both sommeliers. Their business is based in Costa Mesa, California.

Belle and Bottle partners with boutique, family-owned wineries to curate unique wine experiences and wine clubs. From our relationships in our backyard of Washington State to the emerging markets of the world, we are constantly seeking out wineries to watch, rising stars, and exciting trends. Our clubs explore the best of each region or focus, while maintaining our mission of connecting you to these great artisans. By using our collective power, wineries not able to reach outside of the local markets are brought to your doorstep.

Bklyn Larder is a celebration of good food. A retail cheese and provisions shop specializing in sustainably produced ingredients, Bklyn Larder has been providing the Park Slope and Prospect Heights community
in Brooklyn, NY with a welcoming place to find and enjoy hand-crafted cheeses, homemade prepared foods, and hard-to-find grocery items since its opening in 2009. They are a dedicated team eager to share their knowledge and passion
with their customers and to bring the work of talented international and local producers of cheeses, meats, dairy products, jams, honeys, oils and more to their market.
Chocolate Therapy

Our founders Andrea & Oscar, created the perfect blend between two cultures by bringing their passions together. Cooper Kettle Bakery
Helen, the owner of Copper Kettle Bakery, grew up in South Wales. Her mother used to take her to a café in their village that served tea, Welsh Cakes, and other sweet breads. They filled every teapot with boiling water straight out of their giant “copper” kettle. As a child, she told my mum: “one day, I am going to open a bakery and call it Copper Kettle Bakery.” After her mother passed away in June of 2013, she found herself craving the taste of Welsh Cakes and began griddling them for her sons, Miles and Noah, then for neighbors and friends and as requests grew, she realized she had found her calling so in the fall of 2013, she made it official by opening Copper Kettle Bakery.
Corner 103
Lloyd Davis opened Corner 103 on the historic Sonoma Square in 2015. Dana Farner, Certified Sommelier
Dana Farner has spent most of her life in restaurants, most recently as Beverage Director and Sommelier of Wolfgang Puck’s CUT at the Beverly Wilshire. Her wine career began in NYC as Sommelier at Blue Water Grill after her passion for blind tasting took hold. Outside restaurants, Dana was Regional Director for SevenFifty and serves as Wine Advisor for private clients. She is now working as Wine Consultant in Los Angeles for Massanois, a New York-based Importer/Distributor. Dubbed “the indie-rock goddess sommelier” by Jonathan Gold in LA Weekly, and “one of the best around” by Bon Appetit, Dana holds the Advanced Level certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers and an MBA from Sonoma State University.

Marou, Faiseurs de Chocolat
Marou Chocolate is owned by Vincent Mourou and Samuel Maruta. Vincent left a successful advertising career in San Francisco to find himself in Vietnam. Instead, he found Samuel Maruta, a recovering banker living in Saigon with his wife and two kids. During a camping trip in the jungle in 2010, they quickly decided to make a break for it. On a ferry ride back to Saigon, they decided to form a chocolate company together. And the rest is history!

Olé & Obrigado
Native Spaniards Patrick Mata and Alberto Orte founded Olé Imports in 1999 while in college. Both Patrick and Alberto come from families who have been making wine in Spain since the 1800s. The first wines Olé imported to the U.S. were from Alberto’s family in Montilla. Patrick was described by Robert Parker as “one of the most driven, passionate and talented young men in the wine world.” Enologist, Alberto Orte, makes extraordinary wines in Spain and is intent on rescuing nearly extinct grape varieties such as Tintilla and Vijiriega in the DO region of Cádiz in southwestern Andalucía, and elaborating wines of place.
Seattle Chocolate/jcoco
Seattle Chocolate Company began in 1991 in the heart of the Pacific Northwest. When the original factory was destroyed by the Nisqually Earthquake in 2001, entrepreneur and mother Jean Thompson stepped up as Owner + CEO of Seattle Chocolate, learning quickly along the way and creating a fresh new look for the chocolate category. In 2012, Jean created jcoco chocolate with a focus on feeding hungry families at its core. With each jcoco purchase, we donate fresh servings of food to those in need through partnerships with food banks in WA, CA, and NY. To date they have donated almost 4 million servings!
Slyd Wines
Slyd Wines is owned and managed by Spencer Daley who started making small batches of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon in his home garage. Using trash bins as fermentors and a small basket press, he grew up loving the process in its most simplistic form. Today, SLYD Wines has stemmed to the Santa Barbara County region. While remaining boutique- producing under 1,000 cases each year- they continue their quest to produce diverse wines for each vintage. Slyd wines partners with the Young Musicians Foundation of Los Angeles.
Spirit Horse Vineyards
Wine acts as a catalyst for connection and celebration, allowing a transcendence from our noisy world. At Spirit Horse Vineyards, our intention is to spur special shared experiences and use them as a vehicle for positive change. We want to live in a world where incredible wine and giving back go hand in hand. Our wines are not only delicious, but also support the local communities from which the grapes are sourced. We help power the Spirit Horse Riding Center rescue horse ranch and therapeutic riding center in Napa, in addition to other philanthropic organizations around the globe.
Subarz
After practicing law for many years, Daphne Subar, owner of Subarz, came to the realization that it was time to follow her dreams and passion and open a bakery. She knew that she wanted to create something unique, tasty, and sweet. After thinking (and over-thinking) this idea for several years, and being encouraged and nudged by friends and family, she finally had the courage to take the next step. Subarz are a unique baked good, combining the crunchy texture of mandelbread and biscotti with the sweet flavor of a cookie. Subarz come in a variety of flavors, including gluten-free, nut-free, dairy-free, and wheat-free options.
Tessier Winery
Kristie Tacey, winemaker and founder of Tessier Winery, is a scientist turned winemaker. A former published research scientist who studied protein pathways, she moved to the Bay Area from Michigan to pursue a career in biotechnology, which included working on the Human Genome Project. She started Tessier in 2009, sourcing high-quality fruit from a strong network of farmers in the Anderson Valley, Santa Cruz Mountains, Arroyo Seco, and El Dorado foothills. For Kristie, sustainability is a priority. These small production wines, an annual production of 1400 cases, get unparalleled attention.
Theopolis Vineyards
Theopolis Vineyards is a small lot vineyard and hand-crafted winery located in California’s prestigious Yorkville Highlands of the Anderson Valley. Situated along Highway 128 in southeastern Mendocino County near the border of Sonoma County, the AVA is a highly elevated, rugged interior wine-growing area. Established in 2003, Wine Critic Robert Parker bestowed upon wine made from grapes harvested from Theopolis Vineyards a stellar rating of 94-96 points, a spectacular showing for the vintner’s first harvest in 2006.

What started as a passion project ding-dong-ditching friends cookies in quarantine became a career when friends asked WHERE CAN WE GET THOSE COOKIES?! So sitting on the couch with the fam on the eve of April 10, 2020 (mom’s bday!) as we savored our cookies, I jokingly exclaimed this really is The Very Best Cookie In The Whole Wide World, and BOOM, five days and a make-shift Shopify site later, I had my they’re spreading cookie love across the country to you and your loved ones.

She has traveled throughout California and Europe and believes, “you don’t have to spend a ton of money to have a great bottle of wine.”
Xocolatl Chocolate
Xocolatl is the original Nahuatl word – spoken by Olmecs, Mayans, and Aztecs – for chocolate. Their small batch chocolate is made from cacao that is sustainably and ethically grown, harvested, fermented, and sun-dried on small farms throughout the Americas and East Africa. They use only two ingredients – cacao and organic cane sugar – in the single-origin dark chocolate. Their flavored bars are also made of two-ingredient chocolate, but have additional flavor ingredients like peppermint, coffee, coconut milk, and sea salt, all sourced with an eye for local, organic and fair. Vegan, soy and gluten free.
