Argaux started as a passion project between two friends who enjoyed throwing dinner parties in college. Arden and Margaux met their Freshman year at the University of Arizona. They bonded over their love of food, cooking and entertaining. Plus, they share the exact same birthday: February 20th. Their friendship grew over monthly dinner parties they co-hosted for friends and roommates. Soon they were known as the “dinner party enthusiasts” and their appetite for all things food and cooking fostered their newfound interest and passion for wine. By their senior year in college friends called Arden and Margaux, Argaux. Various wine bars around Tucson became their “library” where they’d ponder the possibilities and dream up a business plan for what once was a passion project, and now a budding business. Today, Arden & Margaux are both sommeliers. Their business―Argaux―is 3 years old and based in Costa Mesa, California.
Belle & Bottle
Belle & Bottle partners with boutique, family-owned wineries to curate unique wine experiences and wine clubs. From our relationships in our backyard of Washington State to the emerging markets of the world, we are constantly seeking out wineries to watch, rising stars, and exciting trends. Our clubs explore the best of each region or focus, while maintaining our mission of connecting you to these great artisans. By using our collective power, wineries not able to reach outside of the local markets are brought to your doorstep.
Bklyn Larder is a celebration of good food. A retail cheese and provisions shop specializing in sustainably produced ingredients, Bklyn Larder has been providing the Park Slope and Prospect Heights community
in Brooklyn, NY with a welcoming place to find and enjoy hand-crafted cheeses, homemade prepared foods, and hard-to-find grocery items since its opening in June of 2009. They are a dedicated team eager to share their knowledge and
passion with their customers and to bring the work of talented international and local producers of cheeses, meats, dairy products, jams, honeys, oils and more to their market.
Chocolate Therapy is on a mission to rethink the traditional chocolatier offering. Explore all the senses with flavors that include olive oil, hops, sweet potato, pomegranate, and more. Every chocolate is crafted by hand from the painting of the jewel like molds to the distinctive drizzle on top. Our founders Andrea & Oscar, created the perfect blend between two cultures by bringing their passions together. Cooper Kettle Bakery
Helen, the owner of Copper Kettle Bakery, grew up in South Wales. Her mother used to take her to a café in their village that served tea, Welsh Cakes, and other sweet breads. They filled every teapot with boiling water straight out of their giant “copper” kettle. As a child, she told my mum: “one day, I am going to open a bakery and call it Copper Kettle Bakery.” Her mother passed away in June of 2013 and shortly thereafter she was laid off. She found herself craving the taste of Welsh Cakes and began griddling them for her sons, Miles and Noah, then for neighbors and friends and as requests grew, she realized she had found her calling so in the fall of 2013, she made it official by opening Copper Kettle Bakery.
Lloyd Davis opened Corner 103 on the historic Sonoma Square in 2015. Lloyd’s goals were (i) to create a unique environment where his guests would feel comfortable learning all aspects of wine in a friendly, non-intimidating, and fun way; (ii) continue his track record of producing approachable, award winning wines; and (iii) demonstrate the proper way to pair wine with food. He wants his guests to understand that they are already a “wine expert!” Corner 103 is a “must visit” for all wine lovers coming to Sonoma Valley and was ranked as one of the top 10 best wineries in the country by USA Today!
Isabella Knack, owner and head chocolatier of Dallmann Confections creates rich, decadent chocolates for any and every occasion. A native of Austria, she weaves flavors and memories from her childhood with inspirations from travels and stories from around the world in her spectacular truffles. Their virtual chocolate tour transports you on a culinary journey of fusion flavors and delectable delights.
Dana Farner, Certified Sommelier
Dana Farner has spent most of her life in restaurants, most recently as Beverage Director and Sommelier of Wolfgang Puck’s CUT at the Beverly Wilshire. Her wine career began in NYC as Sommelier at Blue Water Grill after her passion for blind tasting took hold. Outside restaurants, Dana was Regional Director for SevenFifty and serves as Wine Advisor for private clients. She is now working as Wine Consultant in Los Angeles for Massanois, a New York-based Importer/Distributor. Dubbed “the indie-rock goddess sommelier” by Jonathan Gold in LA Weekly, and “one of the best around” by Bon Appetit, Dana holds the Advanced Level certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers and an MBA from Sonoma State University.

Marou, Faiseurs de Chocolat
Marou Chocolate is owned by Vincent Mourou and Samuel Maruta. Vincent left a successful advertising career in San Francisco to find himself in Vietnam. Instead, he found Samuel Maruta, a recovering banker living in Saigon with his wife and two kids. During a camping trip in the jungle in 2010, they quickly decided to make a break for it. On a ferry ride back to Saigon, they decided to form a chocolate company together. And the rest is history!
Maya’s Brigadeiro are handmade Brazilian sweets that are silky, rich, and delicious, with a center that celebrates all the rich culture in our favorite city. The company unites Brazilian and American culture by always choosing the finest ingredients, creating unique flavors, and hand making every dessert. Handmade by Maya Zellman in LA.
Milène Jardine Chocolatier
Milène Jardine Chocolatier creates high quality, artisanal chocolates made locally in New York City. Each flavor tells a story and takes the consumer on a journey to a different country to experience a new flavor. The ingredients are fresh with natural health benefits to offer a dessert that both indulges and heals. The hope is to spread happiness, celebrate diversity, and inspire a world to “Live by Love” with each chocolate.
Olé & Obrigado
Native Spaniards Patrick Mata and Alberto Orte founded Olé Imports in 1999 while in college. Both Patrick and Alberto come from families who have been making wine in Spain since the 1800s. The first wines Olé imported to the U.S. were from Alberto’s family in Montilla. Patrick, A Wine Enthusiast Tastemaker, Food & Wine Magazine Tastemaker and Wine Advocate Personality of the Year, was described by Robert Parker as “one of the most driven, passionate and talented young men in the wine world.” Enologist, Alberto Orte, makes extraordinary wines in Spain, including iconic wines such as Atlántida, Elo and Escalada do Sil. He also oversees the production of many other wines imported by Olé & Obrigado from Spain. Alberto is intent on rescuing nearly extinct grape varieties such as Tintilla and Vijiriega in the DO region of Cádiz in southwestern Andalucía, and elaborating wines of place.
Savage Los Angeles
Savage Los Angeles is a chocolate company that doesn’t believe in guilty pleasure. They believe in pleasure well done. Pleasure done mindfully. They have put together a special package of three bars for our tasting – one each of Deep Dark, Orange Peel, and Mint Condition – for just $20.
Seattle Chocolate Company began in 1991 in the heart of the Pacific Northwest. When the original factory was destroyed by the Nisqually Earthquake in 2001, entrepreneur and mother Jean Thompson was an investor in the company. Never one to turn down a challenge, Jean stepped up as Owner + CEO of Seattle Chocolate in 2002, learning quickly along the way and creating a fresh new look for the chocolate category. In 2012, Jean created jcoco chocolate, a bold new chocolate brand under the Seattle Chocolate umbrella, with a focus on feeding hungry families at its core. Since then, with each jcoco purchase, we donate fresh servings of food to those in need through partnerships with food banks in Washington, California and New York. To date they have donated almost 4 million servings to date, and are well on their way to their big goal of 10 million!
Slyd Wines is owned and managed by Spencer Daley who started making small batches of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon in his home garage. Using trash bins as fermentors and a small basket press, he grew up loving the process in its most simplistic form. Today, SLYD Wines has stemmed to the Santa Barbara County region, capturing the brilliance of the Santa Ynez Valley and the amazing vineyards and farmers who make the area so unique. While remaining boutique- producing under 1,000 cases each year- they continue their quest to produce diverse wines for each vintage. Slyd wines partners with the Young Musicians Foundation of Los Angeles which has connected us with the Los Angeles community, as well as the local Santa Barbara region. After practicing law for many years, Daphne Subar, owner of Subarz, came to the realization that it was time to follow her dreams and passion and open a bakery. She knew that she wanted to create something unique, tasty, and sweet. After thinking (and over-thinking) this idea for several years, and being encouraged and nudged by friends and family, she finally had the courage to take the next step. Subarz are a unique baked good, combining the crunchy texture of mandelbread and biscotti with the sweet flavor of a cookie. Subarz come in a variety of flavors, including gluten-free, nut-free, dairy-free, and wheat-free options.
Kristie Tacey, winemaker and founder of Tessier Winery, is a scientist turned winemaker. A former published research scientist who studied protein pathways, she moved to the Bay Area from Michigan to pursue a career in biotechnology, which included working on the Human Genome Project. Kristie eventually came to realize that winemaking was her true calling and after working as operations manager and assistant winemaker at an award-winning East Bay winery, she started Tessier in 2009. She sources high-quality fruit from a strong network of farmers in the Anderson Valley, Santa Cruz Mountains, Arroyo Seco, and El Dorado foothills, then uses minimal-interventionist winemaking techniques to showcase the unique characteristics of the grapes and the vineyards. For Kristie, sustainability is a priority. These small production wines, an annual production of 1400 cases, get unparalleled attention.
Theopolis Vineyards is a small lot vineyard and hand-crafted winery located in California’s prestigious Yorkville Highlands of the Anderson Valley. Situated along Highway 128 in southeastern Mendocino County near the border of Sonoma County, the AVA is a highly elevated, rugged interior wine-growing area. Established in 2003, Wine Critic Robert Parker bestowed upon wine made from grapes harvested from Theopolis Vineyards a stellar rating of 94-96 points, a spectacular showing for the vintner’s first harvest in 2006.

What started as a passion project ding-dong-ditching friends cookies in quarantine became a career when friends asked WHERE CAN WE GET THOSE COOKIES?! So sitting on the couch with the fam on the eve of April 10, 2020 (mom’s bday!) as we savored our cookies, I jokingly exclaimed this really is The Very Best Cookie In The Whole Wide World, and BOOM, five days and a make-shift Shopify site later, I had my they’re spreading cookie love across the country to you and your loved ones.

V Wine Room is a tasting room and wine bar like those found in California wine country. Their mission is to bring boutique California wines and craft beer to LA, offering an extensive list of wines by-the-glass and providing wine flights and education in a relaxed atmosphere for people to enjoy with friends and family.
Wine Expressions removes the “snooty” out of wine. Founder Nicole Ward has spent her entire career in the industry from the East Coast to Napa to San Francisco, and now San Diego. She has worked in fine dining restaurants and for prestigious wine importers and wholesalers. She has traveled throughout California and Europe and believes, “you don’t have to spend a ton of money to have a great bottle of wine.”
Xocolatl is the original Nahuatl word – spoken by Olmecs, Mayans, and Aztecs – for chocolate. Their small batch chocolate is made from cacao that is sustainably and ethically grown, harvested, fermented, and sun-dried on small farms throughout the Americas and East Africa. They use only two ingredients – cacao and organic cane sugar – in the single-origin dark chocolate. Their flavored bars are also made of two-ingredient chocolate, but have additional flavor ingredients like peppermint, coffee, coconut milk, and sea salt, all sourced with an eye for local, organic and fair.
